I just read somewhere where they have the easiest current remaining strength of schedule. They're pretty much guaranteed of #1 or #2 seed.

They're all but guaranteed 16-0.

I got trashed when I brought it up in a different thread that the Patriots won’t play a single playoff team in their first 8 games. Combine that with the general weakness in the afc they will cakewalk into the super bow.

They have had the easiest schedule up until now and the easiest schedule going forward. Pretty nice deal for them. Not their fault the AFC is terrible and the AFC East is worse, but still pretty incredible.

Somewhere in the 2003 to 2007 or 8 season our division was pretty bad. Not sure of the exact years.

The Patriots will surely be resting their starters long before that game unless anyone in the AFC still has a chance to earn the #1 Seed. But most of the AFC is already folding like a house of cards, so they really don't have to worry about renting a charter flight for any postseason game except the one to Miami. Like it or not, it's a done deal.

personally I would be happy to see the Pats go 16-0. They probably will have homefield throughout the playoffs anyway and if they go in undefeated that would put more pressure on them IMO. Particularly since they have done it before and failed.

I still don't get the Pats preoccupation on this board though. We are not Atlanta. I could see if they were preoccupied. Or haunted. I like haunted. I think I'm going to dress as a 28 for Halloween; maybe I can convince my niece to be a 3.

I don't get it either. So many threads on the Pats. Personally I like them, my choice. As for who is better, Brees or Brady I'd assume it depends on how you rate them. Want SB's, it's clearly Brady. Want stats, it's mostly Drew. Given the choice between the 2 I'd take Drew because I love him.

Stats for Pats at Buffalo were awful and it was good weather I think.
