He has to be objective when he's calling these games. It only seems like bias to you because you are ironically expecting him to be biased in favor of the Saints, but it doesn't work that way. Whether you like him as a broadcaster or not is a different story.

I like him. He clearly loves football. I guess if I had an issue it would be how he sometimes gets excited for the other team when they do something good, but like I said, he loves football, so it's not like he's cheering against us. He's cheering for football in general. The only broadcaster I don't like is Romo. He comes across like a know-it-all.

I'm cool with Vilma. Now, if you want to talk about awful broadcasters, I know it's radio, but Mike Hoss is really bad. We need a change in the booth.

My wife won't watch a game with Collinsworth on the call. She even said it is sad she knows the announcers well enough to know who Collinsworth is and not want to listen to him.

I do think he goes overboard sometimes in an attempt to sound unbiased.

I don't even think of him as a ex saint when he do games he's just like the other talking heads that do saints games.
