If we win we can't loose this weekend (1 Viewer)

Ok English majors I see that I misspelled one word, how do I edit it so we can move on.

It's practically a given at this point that the NFC playoff teams will be the Saints, Seahawks, Bears, Cowboys, Panthers, and Giants. All about seeding. Minnesota looks 8-8 at best since I don't see them beating the Jets or Bears. St Louis doesn't have a difficult schedule except for Chicago but they would have to win their other 4 to go 9-7, one of which is Minnesota which would knock them out. The Packers will be done when the Jets beat them this weekend, Philly has a schedule with 0 gimme wins and their backup QB in there, the Falcons are done, the Niners blew their chance last week and if they lose this weekend have zero chance with games @ Seattle and vs Denver on the schedule. I see it playing out:

Bears
Cowboys
Saints
Seahawks
Panthers
Giants

I would replace the Giants with either the Vikings or Rams - I think the Giants are completely falling apart and are about to hit a huge losing streak - players and coaches are questioning each other. Otherwise, the list looks pretty much dead on accurate.

Loose is one of the most common mistakes on all message boards, right up there with using the wrong versions of "their", "they're", and "there."

My favorite is when someone writes "he should of done this" instead of "he should have done this". Should of? :dunno:

OMG, I think I love you, Saint Rob. I have tried explaining this to MANY people and they don't get it. For the life of me, I don't know how in the world this ever got started but it's a raging epidemic almost as bad as it's/its. Never mind, I know how it started, people write like they talk.

Did Martin Grammar-tica hijack this thread?

I am with you on these teams. Look at the matchup if they finish in this order. Saints get ELi in the dome where the Giants have been able to avoid playing. If the saints win they get a rematch in Dallas. I'd prefer the saints finish #2 but I like this scenario as long as the giants are still limping.

The one wild wildcard I would like to see though would be St. Louis getting the last spot and the saints getting Haslett's defense in the dome.

Can you really have a row of 1?

I'm gonna get "geeked" for this, but:

well sure, in an m by n matrix (call it "A"), where m = 1 and n =1 and the constant at A[1,1] is 1.

You have a row of 1. You also have a column of 1.

As much as I hate Atlanta I want them to win. We hold a three game lead over Atlanta, and if they beat Washington maybe it breaks there spirits, before we play them. I'm not really worried abot the Skins but if they have nothing to play for better yet

There's a part of me that really wishes I didn't understand that.

But alas, the engineer in me agrees.
