and thank God its a hypothetical question, would you extend Mike Thomas for five more years or Coach Payton for five more years?

Define gigantic. Bc players get astronomical contracts, coaches aren’t fetching elite WR type money
Well, I would assume either would be gigantic and its a hypothetical question because a coach contract is not part of the salary cap, but I'm just curious which would be the higher priority. The SP drumbeat will be loud 12 months from now, especially if Brees retires. I really wish we could lock Payton up under another long term deal.

Kamara or Thomas

That would fit the title better, assuming Kamara was due. Just for fun, I’d say Kamara

Payton. That’s an easy one. I thought the question was going to be Thomas or Kamara.

Sean Payton has been integral in the construction of two separate Super Bowl contending (and one winning) rosters for a franchise who had never experienced anything close to that type of success. You pay that man.

I’d go Thomas for the simple reason most elite RB’s falter before their second contract expires. MT will still have a solid 4-5 years left in him once Kamara retires

And I would go SP over either Kamara or MT since his contract has no impact on the CAP but he brings similar gameday value
