I'm not sure who will trade for Carr

Steelers would be an ideal team for Carr. I could also could see them trading for Cousins.

I was trying to think knowing Carr has a clause where he could possibly go to, and the only team is the Steelers. However, it's a cold weather environment and Carr will probably not want to go there.

These teams MIGHT be interested:
Dolphins(Tua still starts)
Raiders(does Brady want him?)

Carr will say no to the Browns, another cold weather team among other reasons. There's nowhere for him to go really. The 49ers are already in extension talks with a QB, and the Colts have two QBs already. Likely, Carr will be a backup with another team as I do not see him taking anyone's starting job if he's traded.

Because of all of this, Carr is likely not getting traded this year and if the Saints do draft Ward or Sanders, they're backing him up, and that will create problems unless the Saints cut him. That's what would be pathetic about this, a top 15 QB potentially forced to not start in 2025 unless he goes to a winning cold weather team or one that is often on the losing end of the former.
He’s definitely not getting traded this year

A top 15 QB, by definition, is likely a starter on at least 17 teams in the league. Especially if the QB views himself as "top 15". I'm confused...

A trade now would mean taking his entire cap hit including future dead money. There is no way to be under the cap with that so the league won’t approve the trade.
I didn't consider that, I figured if Denver can take the 80 million dollar hit or whatever it was with Russ we could take the hit next year if wanted. Didn't think about this year.
