He's a shiny piece of coal...
I really hope he does good and gets some playing time on defense this season. But just in case of injuries (God forbid), I would keep Bradham on speed-dial; if he doesn't get picked up.
Being here in Michigan, I watched Bachie play several times and you could easily spot him on the field as he was consistently around the football. He was definitely the defensive leader for the Spartans and hated by the Wolverines! Hated but respected for what he brought on the field each game. This dude is a baller!
I just read that it's the performance of UDFA ILB Joe Bachie is the reason for Bradham's release. Linebackers Coach Michael Hodges raves about "Bachie's performance and his intelligence (Football IQ), always being at the right place at the right time". "Bachie performs like an NFL Veteran Starter".
That is exciting. Because I pointed out that we have so much quality UDFAs, but my favorite was and is my favorite player after watching his college tape. Bachie was awesome, always in the running back hole, making stops behind the line, and when he hits you that's it no yards after contact. For his size he hits and it looks like it hurt.
So I say Joe Bachie is my favorite camp beast.
Short arms 31.63 inches and the 4 game suspension is what hurt his draft stock. Baun's arms are 32.75 inches for comparison.
My BIL went to State and was pretty excited we signed him. I thought it was just homerism, but maybe he was actually right LOL
