Inside Linebacker - Joe Bachie (2 Viewers)

Hope this season marks a turning point on our luck with drafting LBs

Either they suck or cant stay healthy

I really hope he does good and gets some playing time on defense this season. But just in case of injuries (God forbid), I would keep Bradham on speed-dial; if he doesn't get picked up.

It kinda sounded like it was not an amicable break up, might be some bad blood between Bradham and the staff. Speed dial might not be an option.

Being here in Michigan, I watched Bachie play several times and you could easily spot him on the field as he was consistently around the football. He was definitely the defensive leader for the Spartans and hated by the Wolverines! Hated but respected for what he brought on the field each game. This dude is a baller!

My BIL went to State and was pretty excited we signed him. I thought it was just homerism, but maybe he was actually right LOL

Davis, Anzalone, Baun, KIKO, Bachie and Robertson are a nice group of LBers to have. If they stay healthy it's a top 10 core.

I just read that it's the performance of UDFA ILB Joe Bachie is the reason for Bradham's release. Linebackers Coach Michael Hodges raves about "Bachie's performance and his intelligence (Football IQ), always being at the right place at the right time". "Bachie performs like an NFL Veteran Starter".
That is exciting. Because I pointed out that we have so much quality UDFAs, but my favorite was and is my favorite player after watching his college tape. Bachie was awesome, always in the running back hole, making stops behind the line, and when he hits you that's it no yards after contact. For his size he hits and it looks like it hurt.
So I say Joe Bachie is my favorite camp beast.

I've read where Baun, and Anazalone have been dominating in practice and even on top of that Eliss and Bachie were out preforming Bradham.

Bachie has similar numbers to Baun.

I really don't understand (with seeing the comparison below) how Baun was projected as a late 1st rounder... and Bachie dropped to become an UDFA.

Short arms 31.63 inches and the 4 game suspension is what hurt his draft stock. Baun's arms are 32.75 inches for comparison.

Bachie's hands are huge at 10.25 compared to Baun's at 9.63
