Is Dak Prescott the New Andy Dalton (1 Viewer)

Wouldn’t want either. Didn’t Dak get paid?
Definitely wouldn’t want one of them on a huge contract.
Yep he carries a cap number of 49 million next year and real high one in 24 it looks like. In 25 he is a free agent. Which means after the 23 season they will probably give him an extension. Paying elite money for a Good QB is a recipe for disaster and they will have to start paying Ceedee lamb, Diggs and Parsons soon. It looks like most of their money will be tied to four players.

He puts up good numbers against bad times, when it doesn't count/garbage time. When his team needs him he fails to deliver, especially against good teams. Come playoff time he completely Vanishes.

Only difference I can figure is AD's peak came with the Bengals, whereas Dak's occured with a Blue Blood/ premier NFL franchise. You switch thier places and AD would be on Speak for yourself, Undisputed and those other shows daily and be discussed as an elite QB.
I don’t like how so many supposed Saints fans spend their energy trashing the QB of our team.

It's looking more and more like he is. Dallas at this point has to know the hard Truth, you will never come close to winning it all with Dak.

He shrinks against really good teams in postseason and regular season.

Yesterday when his team needed him and he failed to deliver badly

Did Andy win any playoff games?

I wonder what Dalton's sack percentage is on passing 3rd downs.

Well he'll have no more excuses if he underperforms in this year's playoffs. He has a talented team from top to bottom. If he can't perform in the playoffs, he'll never get over the hump into the elite category.
Dak Prescott is in the same category as Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray. Can put up good numbers as long as no audibles are necessary and they are playing a bad defense. They are vastly overpaid, slightly above average, and will never win anything. The one exception could be Wilson if he is lucky enough to get Payton for a coach. The jury is out on Lamar Jackson.

The only reason why Dak has gotten so much press use because he is a Cowboy and he plays in the NFCE.
If he was on any other team, he’d be Andy Dalton.
I don’t like either of them but one makes like 40 million a year. Yikes to that.
And I agree with you.

Um, Russ has a ring, end of the comparison.
