With all these meetings with qbs I guess Moore is not impressed with Spencer Rattler.

I'm not sure they can formally meet until the 1st of April.

Doing their due diligence to find a starting QB is a good thing. I'm not saying Rattler can't or won't be a good NFL QB, but he is not ready yet. With Moore, Nussmeier, and our QB coach all being ex-QB's themselves, I'm fine with them turning over every stone to find their future QB that fits the scheme they want to run.

Rattler is still a developmental prospect despite the hopium.

I think he’s a guy you roster and continue to develop but not someone you rely on or cater roster planning around.

If you like a QB, grab him, regardless of if you have Spencer Rattler on your roster or not.

He may end up loving Rattler after working with him live a few times. … Or he might end up not wanting after working with him live a few times. My guess is Rattler stands a better chance than Carr of being around at the start of camp, and that’s coming from an admitted Carr supporter. All the QB interviews happening right now is part of CKM’s job. It’s called due dilligence, and I’m glad to see him paying it.

What if this is all an elaborate ruse to throw teams off the scent of the Saints hoping Warren falls to #9?
What IF?!

OMG, I'm hearing Coach Klein from the Waterboy in my head now:

Once the quarterback has the ball, he fakes to the left. No. He fakes to the right. (pause)

He doesn't fake. He thinks about faking. He pretends to fake.

If he’s not impressed with Rattler just imagine how he feels about Haener….

Rattler wasn’t garbage but he didn’t do anything to tell our staff we don’t need to keep looking for a future QB. That could def. change even as early as this seaon, but as of draft day 2025 he’s done nothing to warrant us being done looking at QBs.
