One of the very few teams (outside of the South) that I'll always dislike and root against.
I've seen a lot of their games, they are pretty flawed and I think the record is partially a mirage.
The weapons are there, no doubt...Hockenson has provided a valuable piece too. The playcalling really comes and goes, though. Also the o-line is very middle of the road. The defense is just way too poor to consider them a playoff contender, that and does Cousins gag again if they are assigned a prime-time game. PHI/SF/DAL can really just out-physical this team imo.

The Vikings are the first team in NFL history to win 11 one possession games 11-0. That stat is very impressive. I think they're due for a one possession loss in the playoffs.

They've always been for real. They've always had the talent to go very far. The coaching staff is what held that team back for a long time. They've finally got a modern coaching staff that can actually maximize their potential.

I’ll say this… I really hope that Vikings fans believe with all of their hearts that the Vikes are for real….

That will make it much more satisfying for me when they inevitably make an early exit from the postseason as their luck runs out.

I will savor the flavor of their despair.

The sad thing about this season is that no matter what you think about the Vikings' chances of advancing in the playoffs, Saints fans have no room to talk after Minnesota found a way to win most of the games they should have lost, and our Saints lost most of the games we should have won.

When your team is a bum, you really can't say anything negative about the teams that beat the odds all year long.

We had some really fortunate wins that year. We lost our last three going into the playoffs.

I'm just saying, counting on a team that always seems to find a way to win to go one-and-done is probably a bad bet.

We had a vikings fan coming here fairly regularly (forget his username) but he was a stand up guy so just for his sake I'll root for the Vikings in the playoffs. What are my other options? Eagles, 9ers, bucs, panties, Dallas? Yeah....I'll ride with the Vikings for the NFC.

But Saints that year blew out and dominated many teams. Last time Minny dominated anyone was week one.

The amount of good fortune necessary for this team to be 12-3 is unsustainable. Cousins is throwing up prayers to the best WR in football right now, and that’s a good DC away from being taken away, which can happen in the playoffs. Their defense is also not close to playoff caliber. I’ll be surprised if they aren’t one and done.

Philly, Dallas, Minnesota, San Francisco, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and Buffalo, are all legitimately good teams.

Seattle, NY Giants, Miami, Baltimore, NY Jets, and San Diego are all pretty decent.

Cleveland, Detroit, and Washington all play with tremendous heart but just not there yet.

Everyone else, including us, are bad to mediocre for various reasons weather ravaged by injuries, poor coaching, poor execution, or some combination of them all.
