It’s Andy Reid, stupid! (2 Viewers)

How many does Mahomes have without Reid? Reid took Donavan McNabb to 4 straight NFC titles games and a Super Bowl.
How many did he win? Andy was in the “can’t win the big one” territory before Mahomes got there. In fact, not only did Mahomes save his legacy, but I’m willing say I bet that Andy was about to hang em up if he didn’t get Mahomes

Every close game we can say “shoulda coulda woulda”. This dude has accomplished more than anyone in the least amount of time. Name another QB that led a dynasty this quick?
Tom Brady

All I'm saying is you are overhyping last night. Mahomes and Purdy played basically identical; the Chiefs were coached better down the stretch and play calling shows it.

Convo got a bit out of the tracks IMO. My understanding about the OP (maybe I’m wrong) is that they’re giving Reid his due credit, not belittling PM. I didn’t watch the game, but if they say the receivers were schemed open every single play, I believe that. Obviously you also need a flawless QB to execute that, with no room for error and such a big pressure. They are both great. Reid also built a consistent juggernaut season in and out, just look at the defense. To be at that level you need all the stars aligned, including a HOF QB. Same for Belichick and Payton.

With the Eagles, he went to 4 straight NFC championship games with 1 SB, lost that one though. It's both of them. He's been successful with McNabb, Alex Smith and Mahomes.

Good but not good enough without Mahomes. Without Mahomes he was what Shanahan IS without a Mahomes type QB.

One last mention on Andy Reid. He deserves a little more respect than what Kelce showed him last night on the sidelines. I understand the Heat of the Moment events but that was a little too much. That moment and the last drive by Mahomes showed us who the true leader of that team is.

What happened?

Tom Brady is a known serial cheater. His career is marred with scandals.

The playcalling of Andy Reid is the key to this dynasty. Mahomes is fabulous but what an easy job Reid makes it for him. On the last two Chiefs drives, Mahomes was dumping to receivers schemed open by Reid, EVERY SINGLE PASS, and they were wide open.
Don't forget the 4th&1 RPO that went about 10yds. There were a lot of great calls by Reid especially toward the end
