After 20 years in health care I can paint an entirely different picture of type 1 or type 2 diabetes and how it plays out for most sufferers. It takes you apart bit by literal bit, meds and dialysis be damned.

Type 2 killed most of my mom's side of the family, often in brutal ways.

I've got it myself. It's not anything to sing and dance about.

Also, jardiance makes you unreasonably thirsty and you piss constantly.

All these people taking diabetes meds are driving my brother nuts. He has had trouble getting his medications lately. Funny thing he says he hasn’t lost a pound lol.

As for the commercial. I hate it. It’s on constantly on one of the apps I use.

It's infuriating, there are other ways to lose weight. Why in the hell are doctors allowed to prescribe essential meds that can't be obtained for the people who actually have diabetes? Or is it simply a weight loss drug being touted as a diabetes drug?
