N/S Jayden Daniels! Discuss! (1 Viewer)

If only we just simply committed to a rebuild post Payton and just suck for a year. Then, we be looking at 10 years of fortune with a young QB.

But Loomis had to prove he didn't need Payton to be successful. Then, proceed to put us in a worse cap situation than before. Bleh.

Yeah and how well has that been for Cleve, Carolina,Chicago? It's way too early to crown Daniels as 10 yrs of fortune . Plus there's no sure thing @ QB in the draft. And what you gonna do , pick the yr You blow to go along with the next great QB prospect?

You trying avoiding the inevitable is cute, but you don't provide any solution to our aging team at critical position with incredible tight cap issue.

Rebuilding isn't about just getting a QB. It's making over the roster with youth and going back to healthy cap situation

I love Jaden Daniels and what he did for LSU, but his downfall will be the same as RG3.

He’s not a great pocket passer, he has gotten better though. If he should ever get an injury to his legs his career will probably be over. His legs and scrambling ability are his money. I hope he has a long successful career, especially against Dallas, but he likes to run and from what we’ve seen from RG3, Lamar Jackson, etc over the years; those QB’s don’t go far in the playoffs.

So you prefer the alternative — to trot out a mediocre team that can win 6-10 games but has no chance of winning a Super Bowl?

It's was a genius move of Quinn to pair Daniels up with Kingsbury. Probably the single most important move to help Daniels transition to the league.
I still didn't have Jayden having Brees like numbers as a passer this early into his career. Insane decision making on throws

Like today he's 26/30...

So you prefer what you got now? Taysom’s body is breaking down . Carr a bit overpaid etc.

You obviously did not watch him at LSU. Made a very bad comparison to RG3 .

Never watched him in college but he sure does look good in the NFL so far. Good for him and for those fans.
From what i saw at LSU he was an excellent passer.

The term or value of a qb being athletic is overblown. It only works if the QB is passer who has the ability to use his legs.

He differs from Cam, Lamar and Vick who are better at running than passing.
