Exactly. We’re not finding anyone better, and Chase actually probably fits the new system better than the old one, he’s more natural as an OLB.

Also can anyone tell me about edge player Dayo Odeyingbo from the colts? Reading he’s a free agent and has some real juice off the edge and played really well as a backup and could excel in a starting role.

On Underhill’s pod yesterday he said he expects Cam and Taysom to both be back and both to take significant paycuts to come back.

For Cam’s part he made it sound like he doesn’t care to much about the money, he cares mostly about his role (he wants to rush the passer), and of course finish his career as a Saint.

Yep. Playing his entire career with one team is a personal goal of Cam’s. He will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

if he is willing to take a cut to retire a Saint, then I bet he’ll have some additional performance bonuses tacked on that cannot count against the cap.
