Jets in a one-horse race for Aaron Rodgers, per Schefter (1 Viewer)

Also, I have made mention of this rumor over the past couple of weeks, but something odd is definitely going on with the Raiders’ cash flow situation. Almost makes you wonder if cash considerations played a bigger than reported role in Derek Carr’s fate.

I still don't understand how the Raiders are soooo broke. They had like 50 years to amass wealth.

It has been but this season feels different to me. I think he’s done in Green Bay.
I think so too. His story is eerily similar to Rodgers. Both were going into age 38 seasons, both caused a lot of drama at the end. Rogers probably like Favre has only two good seasons left in him.

I think what factors alot into the Rogers situation just as much as his antics is the fact Green Bay desperately needs to get something for him while the markets there. After this year the market will be considerably less, the Packers need to start their rebuild now .

The roster is lacking in talent now and they need draft picks and probably try to figure out a way to get their next franchise QB. Love isn't and never will be the future. But he will get a chance this year to prove he isn't the answer at QB, thus leaving no doubt

Like Saint Jack said all his wealth is tied to the team. He is also probably the only owner who is not a business tycoon. The Davis family when they started during the AFL had a very modest wealth.

Compared to the NFL owning an AFL team was dirt cheap. I remember seeing a 30 for 30 documentary. Jerry Jones said in college he almost bought the Chargers when they were in the AFL for 17 thousand dollars.
