Jersey is absolutely beautiful, Kenner is disgusting to me.

Maybe that was rude, I’ll rephrase, towns like Wayne and others in Jersey blow Kenner out the water in my opinion.
Wayne??? The only part of Jersey that is beautiful are the Ramapo Mountains. New Jersey is a depressing state of nothing but highways and exits. And in the winter ??? Fuhgeddaboudit, NO ONE that is not in the arts or finance EVER moves to NY on purpose. Yeah , I'll bet the Jets and Giants coaches love driving to work in 20 degree temps through 2 ft of snow
Guess you never heard the phrase " Flush twice, It's a long way to New Jersey"

Plus a lot of the players and coaches live on the North Shore or in Ormond

Not saying it's true but if it is I can't blame him.
I can the organization is trash right now. Rodgers is at the end and nowhere near what he was. They have some rebuild to do as well. They may have more pieces than we do perhaps.

Yes Wayne is beautiful, I’ve been along with other gorgeous parts, there’s so many pretty spots in Jersey, not to mention low crime and top tier education. 20 degrees in the snow? You’ve heard of snow plows right? Like you think snow is an issue, what do you think people do who live in Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Utah etc, etc do? Have you ever been to NY? I could list an endless supply of reasons as to why NY is superior to New Orleans to me lol, I’m not hating on it, I’m from there, I’ve just been about everywhere. I’m sure coaches in New Orleans love the worst crime in the country, worst education, [the worst to me], etc, etc, but you’re worried about snow. Yeah I’m sure the people in Switzerland are miserable.

And did you really just list the north shore and Ormond? Yes coaches live there because it’s a necessity compared to Nola, not because it’s desirable lol. Nola isn’t desirable to me.

No one ever loves to NY outside of arts and finance? What??

And flush twice it’s a long way to Jersey? Dude Louisiana is the laughing stock of the country to me.

Yeah , I lived in NYC for 4 yrs and New Jersey for 2. Nobody moves to NY or NJ unless it's for a career. That's why all the Yankees move to the south. Check the one way U-Haul rentals
90% of coaches and players don't live in Orleans parish. CRIME???? Ask New Yorkers about crime. Half of all New Yorkers want to get out

I wouldn't live in New Orleans. Nice place to visit but the crime is high and the hurricanes alone make it unacceptable.

We see eye to eye on a lot, but New York City is the greatest city in the country, bar none.

I don’t think anyone can argue that NYC isn’t the best city in the world.
Heck, I went there for the Giants game and I fell in love with the city.

On the other hand, the dynamics of the League has changed.
1. You really don’t need to be in NYC, LA, Chicago, or any major market anymore. You can become a superstar from any franchise.
You saw it with Payton. He became a household name and built a HOF career from NOLA.
2. I think I have mentioned this before, but with the way the League’s TV contracts are set up, you can play yourselves into the A game.
No one is getting hidden in West Virginia.
3. Everyone in this League is rich, at least when you get to the HC level. If you need to get to LA or NY for business, you’re just a short plane ride away.
4. And with Payton, Brees, Bush, Ingram, and (soon to be) Jordan; there is now a path for former Saints to enter the media after their careers.
5. Same with the HOF. You’re now getting a Saint added to the Hall every few years now.

I used to live in NY. Yes crime, I never ever felt unsafe in NY. Go look up the crime index of NY vs Nola lol, the difference is staggering.

Hmm
Pete Carroll? Lol
Man, I totally forgot about Carroll with all the other names out there currently. Interested to see if his name picks up any steam.

I am behind I guess, I did not realize he spent all day interviewing for the Raiders job Monday.

It depends, I lived there in the early 80s when I was in my 20's I was a musician on RCA records . It was great , I played all the best venues , The Ritz , The Peppermint Lounge . The Limelight . When I got into my late 40s and 50s ( the age of most NFL HCs and coaching staffs ) You could have given me a Apt on CPW and said I had to live there full time and work there after I had gotten out of the music business and I would have turned it down

It's just like the saying and it goes for N.O. as well as NYC " It nice place to visit , but I wouldn't want to live there"
