Great points and also lets be honest here Burrow is 22 years old. He should be awesome given all of the time he's been around the college game.

Burrow is older than Lamar Jackson.

What makes Burrow the prospect he’s become are things none of the QB’s you listed comparable like his pocket awareness and leadership.....combine that with the most accurate passing % in the history of NCAA Football and I think he has a good case for a top pick.

But you made some people chuckle so there’s always that.

Top pick...fine. Trading a whole draft??? Craziness.....He looks like a great prospect, but ultimately we have no idea how good he's gonna be in the NFL. Andrew Luck was as close to can't miss at the QB position that we've seen in a long time....and he wasn't worth a whole draft

Every pick is a gamble, I give you that. But when you talk value.....

I would 100% give up an entire draft for a top 10 QB for 15 years....especially with the age of our team being so young. Without a great QB this league is too hard.

Now I know theres no guarantee, so my argument is purely hypothetical.

If I had a crystal ball and knew he was gonna be Drew Brees, sure. But there is absolutely no way to know that. I'm not sure how Joe ranks as a QB prospect against other prospects, but the one that comes to mind first for me is Andrew Luck people thought was can't miss. I don't think the Colts or anybody else would have traded and entire draft for Andrew Luck. I DO NOT think Burrow is as good a prospect as Luck. Luck is physically better in every area and had equal smarts and toughness. Burrow only did it for one year.

Burrow may be the best prospect since Luck. I don't know that. I do know that lots of great prospects do not become Drew Brees. In fact, 99.999% of them don't......including Andrew Luck
