Just face it, the pressure is all on the Saints to win this game. (2 Viewers)

It's "lose" big fella. Not "loose."

You can tell an argument is won when the other side resorts to correcting grammar.

And yes, the pressure may be on us, but so what. We're the favorite, no problem. If there's one thing the Saints have done under Sean Payton, it's take care of business and do what we're supposed to do. Outside of one single game against the Redskins (in which we played terribly and were still within one completed pass of winning), we've beaten everybody that we were supposed to beat this year. The Giants, the Falcons (the 2nd time...the first was an upset), the Bucs, San Fransisco, and even the Eagles when they were considered favorites to meet the Bears in the NFC Championship and McNabb was on record pace. We're supposed to beat you this time around, your team is starting to show some fatigue, and the importance and intensity needed for this game isn't lost on anybody on the Saints' roster or coaching staff, which is the important thing at the end of the day. We as fans can be as cocky as we want...as long as the team understands what's at stake and how to go about achieving it, there's a good chance they're going to get it done.

That's what happens when you drop around without any immediately knowledge, KD..

There are more than a few injokes around here that first times will "never" understand...

1) Getting no respect
2) TURF!
3) {insert player} is a BEAST!
4) The worst of the bunch:: CARL!!!!

well FM the turf is a beast that gets no repspect

Uhm, most of those comments are jokes. We've been getting no respect for so long that saying so is a joke. Read the archives and catch up with the jokes.

Ah. Got it. Well, the pressure is still all on your Saints. :17:

No duh, what part of obvious are you oblivious to?

So no pressure is on your Eagles? Good luck this weekend.

Why not take this oppertuinity to explain #3 and #4?

my final score for the game sat night

Eagles-10
Saints-13
Turf - 20

Not much at all considering they were considered "dead in the water" after the McNabb injury

I thought y'all have done better with Garcia

They've done well with Garcia, and there's no doubt about that. But it's only a matter of time before he comes back down to Earth.

could it be he is an offense that is suited more to his style?

Sorry KD.. but there's no pressure. We weren't supposed to be here.. Heck, nobody thought we were going to be here 11 weeks into the season.

Now we're here, they're scared.. they can't afford to be beat by the "sympathy story". The pressure is on everyone else to beat us.

Honestly, the whole "They're not supposed to be here" story is yesterday's news. Expectations don't stay stagnant; they rise with accomplishment. We've got as big a bandwagon as any other team in the NFC right now. We're coming off the bye, healthy and rested. We've got the homefield (where we historically haven't played particularly well). We've got history on our side. We have every advantage on paper in this game. Which means we have all the pressure to win.

Top 2 seeds and first round byes don't come along every year in the NFL. Now that the team earned its spot with hard work and a little good fortune, the onus is on the guys to finish the job. There's no way we get all the way to this point and not feel heartily disappointed with a one-and-done on our own homefield. We're too in love with this team, the stars are too perfectly aligned, the storyline is too rich. You have to make your championship pushes when you can, because there's no guarantee Brees doesn't tear his rotator cuff or Colston his achilles or Bush his ACL next training camp.

I've got a lot of confidence in this group. They've got a lot to play for and I think they'll get it done.
