Kendre Miller’s conditioning (1 Viewer)

The frustrating part is he is so insanely talented, his blend of size and speed and agility is disgusting. I see a lot of johnathan taylor in him, unfortunately, dude cant stay healthy.
He does always look good when he is on the field. He’s made some good runs and shows power to fight/break tackles. He just can’t stay healthy for any kind of stretch.

Can you explain to me how athletes in wheelchairs or sports of that nature stay in shape? Or if you’re paralyzed cardiovascular health is impossible?
i've never seen someone in a wheelchair be a running back in the nfl. i'm also not going to entertain disingenuous conversations. Kendre has a lot of blame to assume, i simply stated facts of his rookie year coming off his college season.

I’m simply stating you can stay in shape while rehabbing a knee.

The hamstring pulls he's having are on the same leg he had the knee injury on. I got injured playing tackle in the spring and sprained my MCL and Patella. Similar, if not, the same injury Kendre had. You can't really use that leg until it recovers which for me was about 3-4 weeks. After getting full function back and being able to train again, there is major muscle imbalance. It takes a lot of work to regain that balance. Looks like Miller didn't regain that muscle balance in the injured leg and is now paying for it with hamstring injuries.

Can someone of influence please suggest that Kendre Miller train with Alvin in the off-season? Alvin is still very good after all these years and he would admit that it's because of his off-season training.
Cannot judge a hamstring injury specifically on conditioning. It is not that simple.

It's funny, we all want the team to draft players that have never had an injury in college but I think there's something to be said for knowing how a guy deals with the adversity of having to rehab and willingness to fight through things that other players deal with.

I don't think Kendre had any injuries until the knee sprain in his last game in college and the team was clearly unhappy with how long it took him to get back on the field. Maybe it scared him, I don't know? It sure seems like there's a sense in the building that he taps out over issues that other guys play through. I hope he figures out the difference between being hurt and injured.

Wasn't it Donte Stallpepper who always had hamstring issues and the media blamed it on him being TOO in shape? Like he's a Ferrari and you have to expect Ferrari's to break.

Has anyone ever caught wind of players taking yoga classes or coaches forcing it on players? Gotta wonder if all that prime stretching would help at all. It sure helped my back from hurting every time I got out of bed

Right? How do you come into your first NFL training camp out of shape? Looks to me your first one you would want to make a good impression and be in the best shape of your life.

Maybe because Miller was still recovering from a knee injury he suffered in college when he arrived at his first training camp?

Just because you’re rehabbing a knee doesn’t mean you have to come into camp fat and out of shape

Who said he was fat?

And you know there is a difference between being in shape by normal standards and being in shape by NFL standards.

How does a knee injury that prevents a player from doing work outs and running prevent them from being in shape?
1. Look above, you can stay in cardiovascular shape while rehabbing a knee, i alreeady noted it.
2. I doubt DA was would call him out if he was simply dealing with injuries, The way DA made it sound, Kendre either showed up out of shape, or is lazy.

If you can't understand that, well then I can't help you, best of luck.
