To be clear, I'm not advocating wishing for death as the ultimate or only recourse to dealing with these people. In a perfect world there are myriad ways in which the things can be resolved.

But I do understand that impulse. And history tells us these guys rarely see the error of their ways or seek a higher level.

I don't mean to sound overly harsh about it. But we do see that most dictators don't loose control over their people unless they are forcibly removed from power or croak.
