Lamar Jackson’s football intelligence always scared me. Biggest reason I didn’t want him in the draft. Super athletic but there were all kinds of rumors and talk about his ability to process and learn in college. I think that’s gonna severely limit their ability and make play calling very predictable.

I think all run first QBs need to be held to the same criteria: can you do it in the pocket. I don't see how so many people can critique Lamar but turn around think TH is our answer at QB. Although he made a nice throw over the middle in the last game, he still seems like he's operating from a limited passing playbook. I think Lamar needs to prove he can do it in the pocket because teams are clearly focused on the run. Is it the offense or a lack of weapons?
