In another thread there was a listing of pass rush win rates for edge prospects, and Campbell was near the bottom. It seems like that is the role he will land in in a 3-4 defense, so I'm hoping we go in a different direction at #9.

He’s not really an edge. He is better when he is off the ball and out in space. He can play edge, but like the numbers show he won’t make his living there.

Well a lot of people have Jeanty going to the Bears. There are a lot of good RBs in this draft and teams in the top ten may plan on taking one later even if Jeanty is the best of the group.

I don’t see the team passing on Jeanty especially if it plays out this way.

These mockers seem pretty unable to pinpoint what the saints actually need and are generally just throwing things at the wall.

They’re going “The saints? Oh let’s just throw some random prospect at them and move on”.

National media giving the Saints “Meh,” off the wall prospects in mock drafts…a tale as old as time.

Campbell at 9 seems like a reach and a half. Haven't had a single mock (and I've run a ton of them on NFLDraftBuzz with their randomizer on all settings) where he's been picked in the first round at all.

Anyone with any type of critical thinking whatsoever will not have Jeanty surviving past Pete Carroll and the Raiders. Likely chance he doesn't make it past the Patriots @4. High chance someone tries to trade up for him before then.

I’d take Johnson too. There are so many ways we can go. The only thing I’d be disappointed in is if we give up the 9 and change to move up to get Ward.

Both the Pats and Raiders may feel some kind of way about taking a RB that high, so you never know.

I think NE goes offensive tackle TBH. The Raiders will be the major pivot point, with needs across the board.
