Las Vegas Raiders at New Orleans Saints...... (1 Viewer)

Yes, and he wasn’t even on a practice squad when the Saints wisely (as it turned out) picked him up. Of course, that may say more about reputation and talent evaluation than MVS’s ability lol.
MVS was on the Bills active roster until he was cut to make room for Amari Cooper. The Saints signed him immediately. He wasn't sitting at home waiting for a phone call all year.

The Saints have hit yet another low this season.

They are one point underdogs, AT HOME to the 3-12 Las Vegas Raiders.

My question is does anyone rally care about this game? I mean I’m going to watch simply because I paid for the YouTube Ticket but this and the last loss to the Buccaneers will be background noise. Yes, loss as the Bucs will be playing for their playoff lives. And I'll watch for the simple fact that this may be the last home game for roughly 21 New Orleans Saints players.

What is the last game in the Superdome going to look like? Empty? What seats filled will be silver and black? And how much are tickets going for? I just see a very bleak last home game in the Dome.

Dark days indeed……

I have paid tickets to the game and I seriously doubt I'll go. It's not worth the time and money to watch.

I gave my tickets away as a giveaway prize in my company's Christmas party. The guy won didn't realize they were for Sunday's game until I sent them to him. He's not happy.

I will enjoy watching the young players without the stress of hoping we win. Kind of like watching a spring game.

This was the game I had as the only other win on the schedule until Carr went down. Now, it's a bit up in the air. Either 5-12 or 6-11 nets us a top-10 position in the first round, I think. And as I've been saying, that would satisfy me just fine.

If they try to cover him with DD and Werner, it's going to be a long day. This is where we miss a Malcolm Jenkins type safety. Maybe Will Harris and Tyrann can keep him from completely taking over the game.
From what I’ve seen from honey badger lately he will be road kill trying to cover Bowers.

I'm honestly looking forward to this game more than just about any other over the past couple months. I feel like this is going to be a great litmus test for Spencer Rattler (assuming Carr is out again). This would be Rattler's first game where he isn't going against a team that is undoubtedly better than us. It's also at home, and he should have a decent OL in front of him (at least among our top players), and there's a chance that guys like Olave, MVS, and maybe even Kamara play in this game.

I want to see how Rattler does in a "neutral" game script where we don't immediately fall behind and have to put the game on his shoulders with mediocre at best weapons and sketchy OL play in front of him. If he plays well then obviously we may want to continue to give him a closer look to see if there's something to develop. If he struggles and plays poorly, then he's likely seen as a depth guy that maybe can develop down the road, but not a priority at this time at the QB position.

I legitimately am struggling to think of a rookie QB that has played under worse/more difficult circumstances than Rattler has in his games this season. Even a guy like Bryce Young as a rookie had a better set up than Rattler has this season. It's kind of funny that Bryce was viewed as a huge bust up until the past month or two. Now he's showing some signs of being a legit QB for the Panthers. In some ways it really does hammer home that QB development isn't always a linear path and can take some time especially when circumstances around the QB aren't exactly set up for success.
