The Saints needed to move off of that contract no matter how the draft choices pan out. We'll soon see if we made out based on how we use those draft choices.

It was unsportsmanlike like fouls (running his mouth at officials, likely using foul language)
Well in our defense i was faking eye injuries to avoid watching DAs SaintsThat can’t be right because some people on here said he was faking his hamstring issues because he didn’t want to play for DA.
bingo! & Ramczyk, Demario, Honeybadger, JordanThe Saints needed to move off of that contract no matter how the draft choices pan out.
Really a fan of Lattimore. He was/maybe still is an incredible Corner. I fell victim to him always being hurt being related to his distain for the team and DA. This continuation of this injury makes me feel better about him because it shows he wasn’t making a business decision when it came to his health and being available to the team.
With all that said, the Saints made the right move to trade him with the stable of corners we have, his injury history, and the cap implications.
Well…. I’ll agree to disagree but Adebo, Taylor, and Kool-aid seems like a pretty good base to build around. There is only so much $$$ to go around. You can pay a Lattimore and not have $$$ for weaker positions. Called a business decision.Saints don’t have a stable of corners
One was definitely OPI another 1 was pretty marginal

I don't think he was DA's biggest fan by any means but nothing I've ever seen him say in interviews or post on his IG suggested he didn't like the team or the Saints as an organization. Even when he was traded I got the impression that he would've been happy to stay based on his open letter and even the comment about "showing the Saints they shouldn't have traded me" (which isn't verbatim, maybe not even real but again something I saw online).
I think corner could be seen as a priority in the draft depending on what the prognosis is with Adebo and if we even re-sign him or not.
Too bad some players don't understand the value of taking the high road instead of the verbal bridge burning that so many decide to employ. If he can get healthy for the post season, he will get a shot at something he wouldn't get to experience as a Saint for quite a while... maybe even for the remainder of his career. You'd think he would at lease appreciate that side of the trade.I guess our medical staff isn't the problem..
The guy will always be a Saint and he started the defensive celebrations we now see today. The only thing I didn't like was him saying he was going to show us why we shouldn't have traded him. I mean we did him a favor by sending him to a team that's contending and got a good young QB.
