With the 53-man roster cut deadline on tuesday for 4pm, It's always an exciting time to see who made the team.

Sadly some hard working players won't make the cut, but you see roster changes throughout the first few weeks and so on.

Would absolutely love to see y'all early predictions on who cracks the 53 man roster and any surprise cuts.

I see Mims over Miller, can't decide on the kicker spot, but I really think we got a gem with Smyth.

I believe Tipton and Robinson makes it, and can see 1 surprise cut maybe on LB or DE spot.

Appreciate you, I like that. Swap out Tipton for Dowell and that's really close. This gonna sound crazy but another surprise could be Turner or Foskey. Wonder if Jacobson cracks the roster and a strong gut feeling Smyth over Grupe.

I think Dowell makes it for special teams. Especially with the new kickoffs I think LBs will be valuable for coverage. But, Tipton is a tough cut. I thik Turner makes it, but I did leave Foskey off at first. But, he's apparently been better in camp than in the preseason games and I'm not sure they give up on a 2nd round pick this fast. But, it could happen.

Because Tipton has been out for weeks and hasn't played in a preseason game, I think he would need a big game tomorrow to make the roster. Not impossible, but I'm not sure he's even healthy enough to play tomorrow. Barring a big game tomorrow, I think he would be pretty easy to get on the practice squad since he hasn't played in preseason so other teams don't know what he looks like.

You cut Prentice; he and Robinson maybe 50/50. Hayball > Hedley. I kept 6 CB and 5 LB with Jean-Charles making over Dowell because of 3 nicked up CBs right now. I think Saldiveri vs Lemieux is a thing since Ruiz can snap. I'm keeping Saldiveri but we will see.

It think they may end up finding a punter some place else and they might find a kicker someplace else too if a good vet gets cut. But, for now, I'm not sure Hayball has done enough to unseat Hedley. Though I would like to upgrade Hedley.

Salvideri could end up on IR which would put Lemieux on the roster. Which tells you how thin we are on the OL.

Dang good attempt, Widge. Really spot on. I don't think it'll look much different unless they pick up somebody post cut down or make a trade. The only thing different I see is that they really want Grupe to get beat out. He's incredibly small for your last layer of defense. Going into a new kick off system where no one really knows what to expect except that there will definitely be more returns, I think the Saints want someone capable of helping out if comes to that. However, they won't sacrifice field goal expertise to see it happen.

I also think Tipton finds his way to the practice squad. I doubt a team gives up a 53 spot to guy who hasn't taken a snap in a game. Since he hasn't played in preseason games, I think the Saints may even hold him out of the last game as not to risk him looking too good to other teams.
