That's fair and I honestly would really like Smyth to win the job. I like his size, amazing leg, the way he strikes the ball, and the fact that he's almost as good as Grupe but has only been kicking a football for one year. I think he has huge upside. I put Grupe on the roster mostly because he is the safer bet and I think they can keep Smyth on the roster to develop him without counting in the 53. But, I don't think he can be activated unless he is on the 53. Anyway, I would not have an issue with it if they decided to go with Smyth. It's a risk in the short term, but I really think it could pay off big in the future.

I think Smyth too, hes 22 yrs old compared to 25. Grupe was a little more consistent in camp but not by much. Smyth more leg talent. Go with the 22 yr old.
 
I think we see a few players on IR allowing us to keep others like Tipton to start the season.

Smyth due to his international status does not count towards the 53. Smyth will make it on that alone..No sense it cutting Grupe. This is a win=win for roster spot
 
Hayball should win the job if we are going off distance. Maybe the kicker/holder relationship sees Hedley keep his job.

I really want Kibodi to make this roster. Honestly, I’m not sold on Kamara between the tackles anymore and Williams is hit or miss. I know it’s sac-religious to say this about Kamara…but….

Miller to IR.

If we are really interested in moving in a new regime change then we need to cut Foskey. I think he’s a bust and we’re better off with a more productive Lalos. I believe Lalos is ready.

Yeah. I think Rico and Holker make it. Samson has a nice mix of height, weight, speed with an 8.07 RAS (Puka 5.15). I wish he joined the team at MC. He had zero catches the last two games. I think Nacua and Tipton are your PS WRs.
