Yeah I had Prentice on there and took him off for Hudson. I like the LB's for special teams purposes. Look for Prentice to come back on the roster after a few weeks in.

I absolutely Love Smyth and want him to make it over Grupe because of his leg but with the groin tightness I think he lossed out on a spot.

Jean-Charles & Hudson on almost every sites 53 projected for us.

Gonna sound crazy But A.T Perry been so inconsistent not sure how I'm feeling about him honestly. Cut Foskey and Miller and almost threw Kibodi on there.

Pure Guess....wishing every Saint best of luck....

QB (3): Carr, Haener, Rattler
RB (4): Kamara, Williams, Kibodi, Robinson
FB (1): Prentice
WR (6): Olave, Shaheed, Johnson, St. Brown, Nacua, Means
TE (4): Moreau, Hill, Holker, Rader
OL (8): McCoy, Fuaga, Ruiz, Hergel, Penning, Udoh, Patrick, Young

ST (4): Wood, Grupe, Hedley, Gray

LB (6): Davis, Werner, Jackson, Ford, Dowell, Gay Jr.

Hudson?

I would not be shocked in Perry was cut nor would I be shocked if he stayed. I'm very apathetic about him after watching preseason. Miller and Foskey can both go - I think there are much more favorable options at those positions. I think Kibodi is a gem. I would rather keep an additional TE than WR this year. I wouldn't be mad if Jimmy was brought in. I said it before, when he was on the field, he made a difference. Too bad Pete had no clue how to use him.

I honestly don't know much about Hudson, but I seen him on alot of 53 projected rosters. He's the only player I don't know much about. What's wild is I remember reading how good Jacobson was doing in camp but nothing lately of him.

Can see a few tweaks of the roster, but I think that's about as close as you can get there.

I'm with you.

I like Miller and Tipton. Tipton could accidentally make the 53, but if not, he can probably clear waivers to get on the PS. Miller needs to go on IR and get 1 more chance to stay healthy in the 2nd half of the season. He looked really special in the few carries he got. After IR, 1 more hangnail and we should let him go.

Yeah. I think Rico and Holker make it. Samson has a nice mix of height, weight, speed with an 8.07 RAS (Puka 5.15). I wish he joined the team at MC. He had zero catches the last two games. I think Nacua and Tipton are your PS WRs.
I really liked Kibodi vision and moves. We need to figure out a way to keep him.

If we are going to play the "I" his size brings something to the table that may be more valued as the 4th RB option than what a faster more agile back might duplicate that the other 3 RBs already have.

We will see how they approach the roster on cut-day, but just remember there is no such thing as a Final 53 man roster.

My Initial 53-man roster has a few odd takes. No traditional Fullback. No Punter. This will change 24 hours later when the Saints make other roster moves including placing a few players on IR which will open up those spots to bring back a Fullback and a Punter.

Only about 20 teams carry a traditional Fullback on their 53-man roster. Those that do already have their guy. Prentice should be available to be resigned, if not, another Fullback such as Horvath most likely will be available. I fully expect the Saints to carry a traditional Fullback on their gameday roster.

The Punter competition for the Saints has been iffy. Again, most teams are set with their Punter at this point. It's doubtful that either Hedley or Hayball would get claimed and placed on another teams 53-man roster to start the season. And if one of them did, the other would still be available. Hedley returns Wednesday.

A new rule for 2024 allows teams who place players on IR on cutdown day to activate up to 2 of those players at some point during the season or playoffs. Teams can have a total of 8 players return from IR during the season and an additional 2 for the playoffs. I'm expecting the Saints to place a few players on IR on cutdown day with the intent on having 2 of them return at some point during the season and also placing a few on IR the day after cutdown day to shuffle the roster and add other players to the 53-man roster 24 hours after the initial 53-man roster is released. Kpassagnon is one of the players I have on the initial 53-man roster who will go to IR to the following day that still give him a chance to return at the end of the season or for the playoffs.

Here's my Initial Saints 53-man roster for 2024. I don't expect the initial 53-man roster to last more than 24 hours. Anyway, here it goes.

Looking like Kibodi might just slide on in that NUMBA! with Robinson being released.
