N/S Lions at Panthers preseason on CBS (2 Viewers)

Flipping between the Panthers, Titans and Smackdown. Andy Dalton with a pick to end the scoring drive. Panthers defense looks less energetic than in the past.
Good for us.

Wow 5'10 is terribly small for a QB. He is not going to last behind that terrible offensive line. If he does run, he is going to take a brutal beating.

I never thought him to be an NFL. Probably the same for Stroud.

The dysfunction in Carolina and Houston is going to be too much for them to overcome.

It's pretty much impossible for a QB to succeed in a poorly run organization. Payton Manning and Burrow are about the only Qbs who I can think of who transformed a badly run organization quickly.

Jason I don’t disagree with your observations, but do believe both franchises now have competent coaches, which should help both QB’s reach their potential! Just glad we will get our first game with Carolina early.

Bryce Young = #1 pick, price paid, #9, #61, 1st in 24,2nd in 25 and DJ Moore
Jake Haener = 4th rd pick # 127
I'm not saying Young has looked awful but he has very much underwhelmed especially for the price they paid.
I've watched every snap from both QB's and I think Jake has played better with our 2's and 3's than Young has with their 1's
Man did we get the better deal
What h their defense suck this year and they end up with the #1 overall pick only to not actually have it anymore.

Remains to be seen for both HC's. Frank Reich was a good offensive coach (winning a SB with the Eagles) but his HC tenure in Indy was hardly spectacular. In 2021 Indy was a lock to make the playoffs. All they had to do was beat the 2 win Jags. They didn't. Indy is similar to Carolina in that the ownership and front office are challenged. Remember Carolina is a team that traded draft picks for Sam Darnold (fail) and again for Mayfield (fail) and then traded their best players McCaffery and Anderson. Indy traded for Matt Ryan and then guaranteed his contract when they didn't have too...
Ryans is completely unproven as a HC. Again, he's a SB winning defensive coach on a very talented team. However, the Texans are not very talented, and the front office and ownership are jokes. Both these coaches are in for difficult seasons.
