Live feed of a watering hole in Africa: (1 Viewer)

I would have loved to have seen the Giraffes. Maybe they will come back.

I saw them previously, about a week ago, during the AM. Last night was the first time I had seen them again. I've been watching pretty religiously. I had surgery a couple weeks ago, so I've been laid up at home. Besides watching football, the watering hole has been the highlight of my days. :)

Wow, sorry I missed the giraffes. Watching them get into position to drink must be pretty cool.

I haven't watched much of the watering hole lately, or been on sr.com much for that matter....too much going on at home. Lousy week, sick children, problems at school with one, etc., etc.....

what time (est( is the best time to watch for something -- I never see anything -- and how can one change the view -- I always get the same one but the person who posted a deer picture looks like it was to the right of the watering hole

There is someone controlling the camera. They move it and zoom in when there is something to see. The best time to watch is late evening or early morning (when it's daylight in Africa). As I type this, it is ~1:15 AM in Africa (it's 6:15 EST time). About 11 PM EST is a good time if you are up. If not, check it out early in the morning. I've got lots of animal screen shots, most of which I got during the early morning. The giraffe pictures I got around midnight last night, but I've also seen the giraffes around 7:30 AM EST.

Monkees & birds have been OK...but I want a predator. Tarzan himself would be pretty cool.

The most exciting thing this evening is a couple ducks trying to chase some other type of bird away from the watering hole.

11PM EST -- Giraffe in the distance. Not sure if it's going to come close, but...

tons a action now... zeebras just left.. got some monkeys now

Holy crap! That babboon was just playing with his _________. I really didn't need to see that.
