Looks like Sirianni will block coaches from following Kellen [mod edit: lateral moves] (178 Viewers)

The QB Coach was the only one that was being linked to following Moore to NO (Doug N) and I believe there is a linebacker coach who could be a target for DC for Moore so any guy he brings would be a promotional hire.

I'm shocked! More bloviating from a Philly dude. I'm convinced the city adds testosterone to their tap water.

OC isnt that important IMO as Moore will more than likely call plays, DC will be vital

He's going to call plays, but I do think he needs the right guy as his OC so that he can turn over a lot of the daily game planning duties to the OC so that he can handle some of the HC stuff. I think lots of guys fail because they spend too much time on their side of the ball and neglect the HC part of the job. Payton was a master of it in part because he could trust Pete with a lot of the day to day OC stuff.

But sure, the DC hire will be vital and likely more important.

It’s all good Nick. We know you had nothing to do with that SB title. Damn near lost his job bc he couldn’t keep AJ in line last year. Funny how a book, was the only thing that could reel AJ back in. Maybe we should take that book from AJ and watch him implode again?!?!

I love how everyone just ran with this but is there anything besides a joking comment at a press conference?
Press conference??? You mean immediately after winning the SB on the stage with the Lombardi trophy live to millions of people???

From what I understand, you can't block a coach from leaving if he's getting a promotion from his current position.

Apparently they can and will block us from offering their assistant position coaches to be position coaches here. That’s going to be the tough part..finding position coaches. There’s a chance we could get Moore’s bro for QB coach. Outside of that I have no idea.

Yeah. Wrong characterization of when it happened but my point stands. We don’t need to take everything personally and play the victim all the time. We’re becoming the fan base that cried wolf.

What are you even talking about taking it personal and playing the victim? You responded to someone super sarcasticly who simply stated “think its a good sign that Sirianni is doing everything he can to keep Moore”
