Looks like Sirianni will block coaches from following Kellen [mod edit: lateral moves] (61 Viewers)

VP of LB'ers and pass defense coordinator of the 7-15 yard zone.
VP of Secondary and pass defense coordinator of the 16- infinity zone.
VP of Edge rush and commandeerer of library books on the sideline.
Funny but Not that far from what happens

What are you even talking about taking it personal and playing the victim? You responded to someone super sarcasticly who simply stated “think its a good sign that Sirianni is doing everything he can to keep Moore”
Super sarcastically? I asked if there was more to it because all I had heard was one innocuous joke. But thanks for proving me right on the victim mentality.

“I love how everyone just ran with this…” yeah that’s pretty sarcastic suggesting it wasn’t true. Until someone proved you wrong, then you get defensive and backtrack. The only one playing victim here is you my friend. Keep living up to that handle.

It's generally standard practice around the league to block lateral moves that aren't considered a promotion in situations like this.

Now we get to see how good KM is at organizing a staff with some guys he may not know that well.

Buddy, you’re really overreacting here. Which is basically proving my whole point. Get some rest, have a good night, and actually try to enjoy the good news rather than dwelling on perceived slights. I’m out.

Apparently they can and will block us from offering their assistant position coaches to be position coaches here. That’s going to be the tough part..finding position coaches. There’s a chance we could get Moore’s bro for QB coach. Outside of that I have no idea.

FWIW, Underhill said on his live stream today that Moore likes several LSU coaches. It seemed totally out of the blue and strange but then I recalled that Moore is close to Doug Nussmeier and obviously Garrett Nussmeier is the starting QB at LSU. Maybe that's a connection?

It still seems odd, but Underhill said it.

Regardless, maybe they will look some to colleges for position coaches? Also rumors of Dan Orlovsky joining the staff. Maybe QB coach?

I'd love to get some experienced college OC/DC coaches that want to make the NFL jump to take position coach jobs here. I think it could really add to the collective brain power of the coaching staff. Now obviously, the top schools are probably paying those OC/DC coaches more than we'd pay a position coach, but there could be some that want that opportunity.

if someone was willing to leave, why force them to stay? nothing like having a disgruntled employee on your coaching staff .

I do wonder about LSU's DC, Blake Baker. He was at Missouri and may have been on staff their with Moore's brother.

It’s ok you got called out for a silly comment. Move on.

It’s all good Nick. We know you had nothing to do with that SB title. Damn near lost his job bc he couldn’t keep AJ in line last year. Funny how a book, was the only thing that could reel AJ back in. Maybe we should take that book from AJ and watch him implode again?!?!
To all those giving me the negative emojis, why don’t yall prove me wrong.
What exactly did Nick do?
He didn’t coach Saquon into being the best RB. He didn’t coach the defense. He didn’t call plays. All he did was manage supremely gifted/talented guys, who are all solid great locker room guys. The only wildcards are Ceedy and AJ.
Nick pulled a “George Siefert”. All he did was be the HC of the most talented team, from top to bottom, in the NFL. Everyone else did the heavy lifting.
