IF Kyrie and AD remain healthy, it makes Dallas better this year. I still don't give up a generational player like Luka. You keep tweaking around that kind of player at that age. Dallas just got short-term vision stupidity with this trade. Especially when both Kyrie and AD are prima donna players in their own way. I wouldn't trade any player for Anthony " I'm hurt again" Davis. This is just so baffling. Luka is 25 and Davis 32,
that alone makes it a horrible trade. Something is missing here and I'm sure it will come our sooner or later.

It’s the only thing that makes sense (assuming Luka didn’t demand a trade to LA).

If they wanted to trade him for basketball reasons they could’ve gotten so much more than this. Hell they would’ve at least called more than one team.

Its either an ownership level move for some unknown reason or the league deciding they needed to find a way to ensure the post LeBron Lakers stay relevant

Don't act like this was a "business as usual" move for the Lakers. Under normal circumstances, this move doesn't happen without LeBron's blessing but it looks like the Lakers organization finally grew a backbone and did what's best for the franchise.
