Opinion LWOS Writer suggests Cam Jordan could be a trade target [mod edit] (1 Viewer)

I figured as much. I was hesitant to post it, but I'm uber bored after having back surgery Monday. :hihi:
As your therapist I recommend alcohol for both the surgery, and as a coping mechanism for this year’s version of the Saints

This is total clickbait, love him but dude is done, he is ineffective....hopefully he retires after this season....

Maybe in Madden but Cam is gonna finish out in black and gold. He needs a few sacks to finish strong and make that final HoF push. Maybe pause those podcasts and focus on more savvy techniques would be my suggestion

Surely not an NFL trade? Perhaps trade him to the nursing home for a nurse and bottle of painkillers for our All-Injury team...

After losing Hutch and the coaches there being familiar with him I can see some interest from the lions. Id approach him if they call, if he wants to take a shot with them, let him have it. He deserves that much if he's wanting to try one last shot at winning a ring.

Yeah if he wants to go play for KC to get a ring, I'm OK with it. Other than that don't trade him against his wishes. We deserve a feel good moment and he deserves a proper send off in front of his fans.

I'm looking forward to his HOF speech

Cam current cap # $13,852,250
Cam cap # if traded $35,127,250
End conversation.

If he wants to play after this season Saints are really going to have to look at a serious pay cut (no restructure) or a post June 1st cut, but that conversation is for another day.

Not a main stream outlet and I haven’t seen this anywhere else, but I thought it was worthy of a post to see if anyone else has heard this.

Thoughts?

My thought is that Cam wants to retire a Saint and that this may be his last year. I don’t think we’d get anyone worth anything in return and maybe a 6th or 7th round pick as compensation.
Who’s going to trade for an old defensive end at the end of his career. Whoever penned this was either drunk or some good narcotics.
