Based on a speculation piece from Breer. I don't know if his contract is moveable, and I don't really see him being at the top of teams wish list. I don't know if he's adding any pass rush value at this stage of his career, no offense. He brings effort and leadership. I have to imagine those teams are straight up just looking for pass rush.

Yeah he hasn’t been putting any good tape out there this season. Don’t know why another team would want him at this point.

I would trade him out of respect for the player. Let him finish his career with a winning franchise and save him the misery of ending his career on this rudderless ship.

I honestly think playing for one team his entire career is more important to Cam than anything else. He’s said it many times that it’s a career goal of his.

It’s Saints or no one for him. He’s one of those rare players that are loyal to the logo.

Ravens, Lions Fighting Over Saints Trade Target

Cameron Jordan is one of the bigger names on the trade block, and the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions could fight for his services.

Not a main stream outlet and I haven’t seen this anywhere else, but I thought it was worthy of a post to see if anyone else has heard this.

Thoughts?

My thought is that Cam wants to retire a Saint and that this may be his last year. I don’t think we’d get anyone worth anything in return and maybe a 6th or 7th round pick as compensation.

Yeah, if he is going to retire in 2026 or even 2027, I say keep him BUT if the offer was a good one, I say take it, but it would have to be a third-round pick or something and I doubt we get that.

let him retire as a saints.. Trade him for what?, useless draft pick. no thank you, his leadership and love for the saints is enough for me to let him finish this year and then retire as a saints.

You trade him if it clears his salary from our salary cap problems.

He can come back when he is ready to retire & sign a 1 day contract in order to retire a Saint.

Love Cam and appreciate everything he’s done and all the great years watching him play. That being said I just don’t see a team trading picks for a player who could retire at any time and no longer producing on that elite level due to Father Time.
