How?he's irrelevant
The issue is he does it for a living so he must generate revenue. And sensationalizing and saying anything that generates clicks that equals $ is what he doesHow so?
He’s a local Podcast/content creator for our team. Won awards. His opinion is no different than any of our’s.
If you're not a member Nick and Mike do a youtube show on Mon, Wed, and FriI'll check them out. I've only ever listened to NOF Ross and AFR as of now, think that's it.
Both Ross and Nick do clickbait. It doesn't bother me thoughStick with guys like Nick Underhill and Ross Jackson. You’re not gonna get clickbait, hot take type stuff. But you’ll get information and analysis that comes a lot closer to reality.
And what's wrong with that? That's how the media works. The issue is he does it for a living so he must generate revenue. And sensationalizing and saying anything that generates clicks that equals $ is what he does
Yeppers I've watched it, I've been a member since he started as well.If you're not a member Nick and Mike do a youtube show on Mon, Wed, and Fri
I share your sentiments as well, I feel he's overly condescending. He seems quick to dismiss other's view points. I think his gimmick wore on me and would rather support SR at this time.I respect nicks beat reporting acumen and do agree with others about his analysis and stuff but I feel(JMO) that Nick has gotten very condescending and frankly arrogant in the past year or so. Others may feel differently and that’s fine but he’s rubbed me the wrong way recently.
I don't know if my uncle is at Baton Rouge anymore or not, but I know he's at the games. He says the press box is like a frozen tundra. The thing is I don’t consider the Baton Rouge guys local. They don’t go to the games. They don’t go to the practices. They don’t go to the press conferences. This is a side gig for them after LSU.
The ones I consider local would be NOF (Underhill/Triplet), Locked on Saints (Ross Jackson), Fox 8 Overtime (Fazende), TP Saints Insider (Duncan/Johson/Walker/Ewing), Inside Black & Gold (Nowak/Gellar)
What's wrong with that? Everything, that's what's wrong with media everywhere. No accountability. They can say anything , true , false , lie anything to get the click, because once they get the click that's all that matters. And that's especially true in sports because there are so many unqualified amateurs in it. Sports journalism is and has been dead for many yrs. One of these Youtube experts could post that Loomis was caught naked with a billy goat and pretty much have no repercussions and they will reap the benefit of all the clicksAnd what's wrong with that? That's how the media works.
Can't drive revenue and investors pull their funding and people lose jobs
Sounds like get off my lawn but okay. What's wrong with that? Everything, that's what's wrong with media everywhere. No accountability. Same with the TV news here. I call it LSU News. I changed the station about when the sports segment comes on.I can't stand ESPN Baton Rouge. I gave them a try a couple years ago and stopped listening. The late morning crew is the worst of them.
They are LSU Homers and the Saints/Pelicans are their side pieces.
They only talk pro sports to fill air time in between their LSU slobber sessions.
I agree. The weathermen are likable but the sports anchors are terrible.Same with the TV news here. I call it LSU News. I changed the station about when the sports segment comes on.
