He has no real information just spews opinions for sake of content, I do not know why anybody listens to him let alone post his videos as if they are factual.

Because he has been more right this season about our team than most of the "trusted" media. I look at it as part of 2 factions:

-You have the insider group that will moreso give things from the "organization" viewpoint.
-You have the group that looks at things from a fan's perspective, which is heavy opinion based.

The thing about this is the latter group is willing to be more honest, quicker than the prior. So for a lot of what was going on during the season, Matt M. was more right than wrong, especially when compared to the more "legitimate" group. Does he give his hot takes? Yep, but so does the other group ("Derek Carr is the perfect fit for Pete Carmichael's offense" ). I don't dismiss his takes, like I don't others, unless it can factually be disputed. Because at the end of the day, we all have opinions about this team.

Yeah as I've said before he doesn't carry the water like NOF and Ross have to: I will give him that.

Stick with guys like Nick Underhill and Ross Jackson. You’re not gonna get clickbait, hot take type stuff. But you’ll get information and analysis that comes a lot closer to reality.

Jeff Nowak & Steve Geller are a pretty good team, and never put you to sleep. They (especially Nowak) do their homework.

I'll check them out. I've only ever listened to NOF Ross and AFR as of now, think that's it.

The thing is I don’t consider the Baton Rouge guys local. They don’t go to the games. They don’t go to the practices. They don’t go to the press conferences. This is a side gig for them after LSU.

The ones I consider local would be NOF (Underhill/Triplet), Locked on Saints (Ross Jackson), Fox 8 Overtime (Fazende), TP Saints Insider (Duncan/Johson/Walker/Ewing), Inside Black & Gold (Nowak/Gellar)

Well yeah. I do believe they are too positive in their take. But like I said I don't pay too much attention to opinion pieces. I have my own. And I really don't listen to podcast. But I give those two more credibility just because they are around the team more.

They’re role players, though, to use a little X-and-O parlance. Their star players have been cringe-worthy for years now. Let Nowak and Geller have the mic to themselves and then you might have something.
