Meet the OC candidates (2 Viewers)

AFR chimes in….

I just don't agree with Salisbury. Griese has ben an NFL coach for TWO yrs and only a QB coach and has NEVER called a play in his life. Salisbury contradicts himself when he says that could not emphasize how important the rhythm of a play-caller is and how some everyone knows X's and O's and then says the best candidate is one who has NEVER called a play from the sidelines before. Could be that SS has never been a coach and was a below avg QB that he picks a QB coach as his choice?

Ok so these are the 3 guys formally requested interviews with. They may be considering Curry but there is no official word just like there's no official word concerning Gruden.
Maybe this will shed some light on each one.
Shane Waldron

Zac Robinson

Dan Pitcher

Because Waldron is already an OC it's much easier to really get an idea of what he can do. We can see how he works and have a much better idea of what we'd get if he's hired.
While i like Robinson my biggest question is last yr the Rams had an opening for an OC, why did McVay not just promote him and not go outside the organization and hire Mike LaFleur?
If Zac was ready why not just go with him?
It's hard to get a feel for Dan Pitcher he's been Burrow's QB coach since he got there, I mean Burrow was probably the most NFL ready QB since Peyton Manning so don't know how much work he had to do. Browning did a pretty good job when JB went down so maybe that a feather in his cap

I didn't list any other potential or favorite guys that I'd like to see be in the mix because that would be moot if the Saints don't ask for interviews,
So out of these 3 who's your choice ?

Where is Ronald Curry? Because that's who it'll probably be. Remember Derek Carr is a average to below average QB.
