[Merged] AK officially out Sunday (1 Viewer)

There’s A LOT of season left! Kamara has a “mild knee sprain” according to Underhill. He’s out this week… maybe next, but he’ll be back soon and he’s going to be fine.

Saints are gonna win this Sunday… I’m as confident about this week as I’ve ever been. They’re going to show up and play lights out!

If you play daily FF… get Ingram! He’s gonna put up 100+yds and 2 TDs.
He might, idk, Titans defense is stout. If ever there was a game where we needed both Boom and Zoom, this would be it.

That said, with Ingram and hopefully Taysom finding daylight, it's possible they can have some success. We'll see.

If the Saints can go to Tennessee and somehow snuff out a win, i will be officially impressed b/c w/o AK41 we may be the most offensively-challenged team in the entire league. I genuinely think they have a harder task this Sunday than they did against Carolina earlier this season w/o Kamara...good grief we cant catch a break ><

He ran on the 2 point conversion after Stills' go-ahead TD, so he played the whole game.

People have mentioned 2019. I thought that was an ankle injury.

Also, if it's any consolation, Julio has developed a hamstring problem this week, AJ Brown missed practice today with a knee issue, and Tannehill missed practice today with an illness. And of course Henry's out.
It was a ankle to begin with and then he did his knee jn Jacksonville early in the first quarter.

Shut him down? Are you guys crazy ?
We are 5-3 and in the thick of the playoff race. The shutting him down and waiting until next season talk is ridiculous. You have no idea what “next season “ will be like. I bet Miami didn’t think that way last night. No one, including myself gave them a chance against the Ravens.

We have Ingram to carry the load and Montgomery to catch passes. We’ll be fine versus Titans, and against Eagles too if necessary.

The gameplan will be ball control and contain Tannehill. Our RBs and defense should be able to handle those tasks after correcting last weeks mistakes (drops and late second coverage lapse) in practice.

This will probably be Payton's toughest test of his career, at least since his lost season. If he can pull the guys together and fight and scrap and hopefully snag enough wins to get in the playoffs and if Kamara and a few others are healthy enough, maybe make a run. Long shot, but who knows in this nutty season?
Yeah, I agree and look, just like anything else in my life, it ain’t over till it’s over. We’ll see how it all shakes out, but it’s going to be much tougher than I originally thought.

It was only a matter of time the way they were using him.

I don't know if they need to fully shut him down once he's healthy, but they have to stop giving him 30 touches a game. Overworking him will just shorten his career.
Agree

What if we can win a Super Bowl with this crazy season we're having? Talk about a Storybook season that we will talk about as legend. If the Giants (as a 6 seed) and Ravens (with Joe Flacco) can win with defense, why not us?

If they were to somehow scratch and claw their way to a SUPERBOWL win this season… there is only one thing I know for certain… Sean Payton would not be named Coach of the Year. 🤦‍♂️

As snakebitten as we've been this year with all the injuries we need to be really smart about AK's health. His long term health is way more important to him and this team than trying to rush him back if he's not 100%.
