This is a great listen, and Sean talks about a lot from the team to Hill and Winston, to rap music.

Why is it tarnished?"In Payton we Trust". Except that coin is just a little bit tarnished this week.
I think it was a combination of that (a lesson learned from Bridgewater playing last season), having given word/promise to Taysom prior to signing Jameis, and, of course, Payton actually believing in Taysom as he had said so many times that he did. Given that the Saints won't be in a very good position to draft a QB high in the draft (and you can't just rely on the ability to trade up as a guarantee), a competition between Taysom and Jameis next off-season would seem about as ideal as we could get (assuming Brees retires). I, personally, wouldn't be upset if the Saints end up in that position. I don't know if Jameis will want to sign back, but coach is doing the verbal work now to help try to swing Jameis the Saints' way.So in other words, we want Winston to be here next year, but hindsight, we want him cheap so we don't start him. Loud and clear!
That's good news. There is zero reason to just hand Taysom the starting job without a real competition. And I still think you add a draft pick at QB to the mix. Give yourself every chance.
I don't know... I think Payton might be alluding to that QB maybe out of reach in the draft with our current positioning and what QB we covet.
Probably unlikely we can draft a QB. Or just smokescreen
Just my thoughts...If Taysom play poorly this coming game, I seriously believe Winston will have his chance the last two games. They need to find out who gives us the best chance going forward and into the playoffs.
If I’m Jameis Winston, I wouldn’t come back.
