Saints [Merged] Well this should get us all excited (1 Viewer)

There's a good and bad thing about Brees possibly playing before Arizona. The good is he will be starting back before things could possibly get out of hand without him. The bad is Chicago week 7. The offense is gonna have their hands full there and Brees could be taking a lot of hits if he's not protected well.

Even the bird in the background is chirping to the "GODS"! #NextWeekBrees

PS..... Ge shouldn't play next week if he could. :)

Drew Brees? I thought we moved on from this guy. Why go back with this past his prime, no arm strength, has been! We have Teddy "get us in field goal range" bridgewater!

Obviously kidding. I'm stoked!!o_O

He is going to play when he is cleared to play. It is that simple. It is the NFL. Holding him out, is not an option.

I'm not worried about Drew playing the Bears as long as he is ready. Just because the Saints won the last 2 games does not mean we don't need Drew starting as soon as he is ready IMO. I think the way our D Line is developing, the Bears should be worried about their QB more than the Saints worrying about Drew.

So what you believe is, one could not do any strengthening of the triceps and wrist muscles, and still be able to maintain arm speed? I guess you have never coached sports, specifically...baseball and or football.

Strength of certain muscles have a direct affect on velocity, and ability to throw a ball a given distance with adequate velocity. I can throw a football 10 yards, just like Drew. But my lack of arm strength, does not allow me to throw the ball with the velocity of Drew.
you're precious - you really are

i was merely relating what Nick Underhill said Drew's QB guru (Tom house) said when he interviewed him

if you feel like you have some insights about how Dr house is coaching Drew, i'm sure it would be appreciated
i'll provide the link

Drew is unbelievable! I've never been so ecstatic to see a man throw a football
