Michael Thomas On Jameis Winston (1 Viewer)

I don't think Thomas' game was limited by Brees, in fact Brees was the perfect QB for him. The times where he was having issues getting separation Drew still fit the ball in perfectly.

Will be interesting to see how effective be can be with a less accurate quarterback. I think he'll be fine.
He seemed fine with Taysom and he was on a bad ankle when he played with him lol

I find it laughable that DB somehow "made" Colston and now CGM.....it works both ways, they made each other great....CGM produces no matter who is back there....be it Teddy or Taysom....I can't wait to see him play with JW.....

lot of talk about who made who great. Always seems comparing apples to oranges.. Back when Colston was playing, and Drew was years younger. And we had Colston, Henderson, Moore, & Meachem. Don't think any of them ever had over a 1,000 yard season. Drew would have touchdown drives that had 8 different receivers in a single drive. Advance several years down the road. Michael Thomas breaking all sorts of rookie records. Catching a ton of receptions for a bunch of yards. Is that because he was so good, and the other receivers were just so bad. Or Drew just being so good. I'm gonna put the answer to all that somewhere in the middle.

Colston had six 1,000-plus yard seasons

Colston averaged 1000 yards his whole career, but otherwise spot on.
