Really???? Looks like he had to throw the ball half a second early just because. Then looks like he got hit and almost had his leg hyperextended.

Yea. He initiated the contact and He got a solid enough punch in to slow the end down a bit. He normally allows the end to dictate the contact. That is not pretty but for him, that was effective enough.

Carr is one bad dude! Notice when he drops back to pass, he looks right to draw DB’s that way, then at the last millisecond he turns and throws left to Rashid. I know that’s what all good QB’s do but in the height of the moment, the biggest play of the game, he has the tenacity and composure to play this out to the paramount. No question he’s a great leader for this offense! He’s become a Saint at the perfect time in his career. Moreover, a time when our Saints need a great QB. If he gets hurt because of poor O’line play I’m gonna be sick!
