Got it on digital dl. I never heard about it until last night but watched a trailer and saw just about every review was above a 90.
 
Torn on this one but might try it out. Pretty busy though with lots of unplayed ones. Trying Wasteland 2 out most recently.

this is a definite get for me. the game play looks fun and the fan fiction for lotr should be fun.
how is wasteland?
have you played any of the endless strategy games? im thinking about getting Legend when the holiday sales start.
 
Barely started it, but it seems like it's gqung to be worth it. Heavy rpg stats and skills. You have to be ok with turn based though. Started on 2nd of 4 difficulty levels and seems appropriately challenging.
 
turn based is fine by me. live action chess matches just wouldn't work.
 
Soooo...is it worth putting down Destiny for a bit? Or is this one that can be had in a couple of months without sacrificing fun factor?

i actually thought about getting this...i have been wanting a good single player game even if it involves wizards and fairies

(destiny has wizards :mad: )

The PS3 version will likely be on sale sooner than that. Or by then I may have some Christmas bonus money to spend.
 
I'm hoping this goes on sale during the Steam Christmas thingy. Id drop 30 bucks on it for sure. I hear nothing but good things. Also, for PS3 or X360 users, I heard the "nemesis" system isn't in those versions. I'm hoping I heard wrong.
 
I got it on steam. I haven't played much but to kill the first targeted guy. I've spent most of my time playing with the graphics settings. My system is pretty decent with a good video card. The autoconfig selected all ultra settings. But there's some serious issues with optimization or lack there of. The frame rate will cut in half on some types of effects, which is a problem in programming imo. Hopefully it gets worked out with a patch soon.
 
Yeah, even on their bench mark it is wonky. It starts and is pegged at exactly 30fps, as if it is capped there. Then half way through it jumps and pegs at 60fps, which is where it should be with vsync enabled.
