Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (2 Viewers)

So I found a bit of a workaround. By putting the game into 'borderless' windows mode, it fixes the vsync stuttering issue. Since my screen is 1080p it still appears to be full screen. Now with nearly everything set at ultra I'm bouncing off the vsync at a perfect 60fps. It is irritating that this sort of thing isn't worked out from the beginning though.

It's weird how many games do better in borderless windowed, when they theoretically shouldn't. I run most games that way now. Another trick for stuttery games is to set the CPU Affinity to a single core. Most games are BS at multiple cores, and run better when they just stay on one and the apps that you leave open are smart enough to figure out to use the idle cores.

Im scared to buy it now. My CPU is right there at the recommended listing, so I'm curious how my pc would run it honestly

What do you have now?

I'm on a i5-3570k, with a modest overclock. 8gb of RAM and a shiny new r9 280 with 3gb of vram.

Wow they still haven't come up with a fix for that? That was a problem/solution several years ago when I used to game on computers. I miss my gaming rigs but I really like the ease of the consoles these days especially with the ps4 being just like a mid range gaming pc. I was looking into some rigs about 4 months ago and man the prices sure didn't go down at all.

I need to upgrade my rig so I can load that enormous picture kcirdor posted.

i tried resizing.. but.. no soup for you.

game works fine on my ps4 :17:

no additional heat sinks required

Awesome! My 3 year old PC that I already owned is still better than a PS4.

Actually I was going to buy a PS4 but my 4 year old video card died and I needed a new one. $200 went to the r9 280 instead. PS4 or better graphics on the PC. Alas, no uncharted and there's these vsync issues. Still, I run the game at 60fps now. I'm pretty sure the consoles are at 30. It does make a very noticeable difference.

So, I screwed something up when I tried to resize it. Sorry.

I must have accidently deleted a character or two.

Thats no prob. I'll just delete.
