Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (1 Viewer)

it's a cool game that is a nice break from the grind of Destiny

very graphic and violent...plays like Assassin's Creed but with moar RPG elements...the only knock is that the controls feel a little sloppy sometimes

plus widge hates it so you know it's good

What kind of RPG elements?

You do gain XP, level up, unlock skills. Some of your enemies will also level up depending on how the game unfolds. The combat system is ripped straight from the Batman series minus the gadgets down to the "8 hit combo into finisher with Circle+Triangle", as well as the sneak mode letting you see the enemies through walls. The game is a mix of Batman with LOTR lore. I don't find the controls to be that wonky like Pop does though.

From watching on twitch it looks like bits of LotR lore and setting, orcs that sound like pirates, and Batman/AC action. Most seem to love it, but I think I'd get bored after 8 hours or so of the same combat over and over with a handful of unique fights in the "storyline".
