Article Mike Detillier: Saints face huge challenge in Chicago (2 Viewers)

To the extent that pounding helps you control TOP, I would include it in my concept of small ball. I think the game totally hinges on the O line. The way they played against Dallas would get you a loss 98 percent of the time. Most of that game was downright unwatchable due to penalties. Today will show just how much of that was due to Dallas front 7 and how much was just an off day for our line. I’m sure hoping it was the later because even without Hicks, the bears can maul.

That’s a good point. And to that end, we have limit those types of stupid calls. You can call that type of stuff every play. It’s usually called when the lineman stops moving their feet and that clutch becomes very obvious. We certainly need a big effort from the front line. They will have to play their best game today no doubt

A c o-worker of mine is a big Bears fan, and he thinks Trubisky actually makes the team worse when he's playing. I'm concerned b/c Kamara and Cook are out, and we already were playing conservatively with Teddy. We can still win if our D comes to play, but it will be a grind. Very fortunately for us, Hicks is out, which should help our run game with Murray.
