Nobody is hating. We just want to see better production.
None of our backs have burst in the running game if that’s the case. The O-Line isn’t creating enough holes for any of them to rush for more than 3 ypc.Early days, but I honestly don’t see the kind of burst and quickness in Miller that I’ve seen in some other backs drafted around where he was taken or later. Nothing he’s done has led me take a quick breath and say “wow!” Of course I recall having the same impression of Mark Ingram in his rookie camp. It took a while but he turned out to be a pretty good back…
Miller had a couple nice runs last night. One went for a TD in the redzone. Miller and Merriweather consistently made plays in the receiving game.
