Last trip to Nola we stayed at the naval base, I walked in to a Daquari shop across the street and got the funniest blank stares as the only white guy in the joint. every city has crime, corruption, and general bad areas, but not every city has the charisma, charm, and culture of a New Orleans. It takes a fool to come here and really absorb the culture and leave with negative comments afterwards. The truth is that guys like him have one bad experience, and boom goes the dynamite as far as their thoughts on a city. I say to Jared "your loss". who knows, he probably said that just to cement his desire not to be dealt here in the future by an organization on a downfall. really he doesn't want to have to cut his mullet due to the extreme humidity of the gulf coast like shockey did.
