Imo, Payton most likely won’t get another ring, but a few good years with Nix to get to that 200 win mark gets him into the Hall.

Also, it’s a reunion of sorts with Payton and Jameis.

Seeing the state of Sean’s new team compared to his old one just reminds me of how far we have fallen and how hard it’s going to be to make our team great again. There’s no doubt that it’s going to take a major overhaul. Every new Broncos win just twists the knife in a little bit deeper.

I think KC and Buffalo are too strong.

No doubt. He's proving the game has not passed him up. What Payton has done with A) identifying Nix and then B) coaching him way up is incredible. They are eating a ton of dead money this year and developing a possibly great QB (and crazy cheap) for the next 4 seasons.

The Allen Years are coming off a sixteen year run with Payton and Brees that yielded a Super Bowl.
The Ditka years were coming off a Mora run with 1 division title with no playoff wins.
No disrespect to Mora, but that Ditka run was WAY worse.
