Injuries or not, this Glenn defense is not good. Even when they've had all their talent available, Glenn's defenses have been slightly above average at best. Please keep him away from the Saints.

I so badly want to root for the Lions, BUT man I just can’t get over my distaste for Goff (amazing how good he is playing). My mind always goes back to that interview he did about the “no call game” with that snickering grin. Obviously, I know there isn’t anything else he is suppose to do but be happy they won by screwing us, but I’m bitter with anything that has to do with that game or call.

The Bosas are among the few players I'd be happy to hear were injured such that they had to retire.

I know the Lions have a ton of injuries on D.

But this isn’t exactly inspiring confidence in Glenn as HC

This just proves that he can’t coach a defense that is decimated by injuries. Backups just can’t do it the same as the starters no matter what cliche people try to use.

I have to say that him and his assistants creativity in designing these plays is pretty impressive. With that said it starts with having a great offensive line that gives a lot of those plays like the hook and ladder time to develop and keep the pocket clean for Goff to make the throws.

Plus having the skill personnel to run those plays. They are young, but all those guys on the offensive line, both RBs, and WRs can’t and won’t get paid when their contracts expire so their window to win with these guys will be small unless they reload with similar talent via the draft or cheaper FAs.
