I would lose my mind with excitement if the draft fell like this....
Only made trades at the end of the draft.

I felt the rest fell perfectly!

Just looked up RB Mr. Tuten has some really good tape. He’s going to play on Sundays.

Like other poster have already stated, Carter is a lot bigger than Werner, 6’3 260ish. & as for his ability vs the run, the dude was an off ball LB his entire career before they converted him this year into a true EDGE. So he’s actually well versed against the run, & the part of his game that actually needs refinement is his pass rushing.

That being said, Carter had 12 sacks & 24 TFL from the EDGE. This dude’s potential matches his production. If he somehow fell, or fell close enough to trade up for, i pray we make that move. Abdul Carter is a player you can build a D around & we’d be blessed to land him.

& the Vic Beasley comp fits James Pearce more than Carter. Pearce is the player i worry about for all the reasons you used to describe Carter.

All good but no trade up. We never trade up well, we give up too much and then the player usually doesn’t work out.
